My biography, work experience,
John P. Burhans is a licensed customs broker at Tradehaus Consulting LLC with over 20 years of industry experience. Throughout his career he has managed logistics and trade compliance for companies ranging from Bio-medical, fine art and a range of household commodities from textiles to toys. The vast exposure to multiple goods has taught John how to navigate the complexities of international trade law for successful importation and export of goods into the US, North American Market and globally. As a licensed customs broker John can transact all customs business with U.S. Customs Border and Protection on behalf of importers/exporters. John believes in bringing his expertise to all small to medium businesses to help them grow and succeed in this competitive marketplace.
John has assisted companies and importers with permitting, confirmed compliance mandates on a range of products, helped reinstate products to Amazon due to misclassification or undue restrictions and acts as the U.S. Authorizing Agent for FDA Medical Device, Food and Cosmetic registrations. He is also able to advise or file EPA registrations for products and EPA establishments.
